The triplets monthly pictures were taken yesterday. Time really is flying and would like it to slow down just a bit. Here is what the triplets have been up to this past month.
Walking: As I mentioned in the previous post, Kathleen took her first step this past month and her first few steps just a couple of days ago. Reagan I think will be next in line as he is going from a sitting to standing position very confidently and Susannah will probably follow his lead. I must add in defense of Susannah, she was the FIRST to walk with the sit to stand walker that I got them at 11 months. Who knows, all I can say is that by spring time, I will have three babies running around the house. Time to really start baby proofing even further. First on the list is carpet pads for the stairs. That should make my mom really happy and yes adding another hand rail going down to the playroom!
Words: All the babies are using more and more consonant sounds. They do say Momma and Dadda.
Meals: This month we also started whole milk and the triplets are eating 5 meals a day plus four bottles. Two of those meals are snacks. They have great appetites.
Naps and Bedtime: They take two naps a day and yes they all sleep at the same time and in the same room. For the most part they sleep through the night, sleeping around 11 hours. Reagan is my for sure all night sleeper and the girls are hit or miss. Kathleen has slept thorough the night the last week and Susannah has ended up in my bed a few of these nights. I can definitely say I am getting more rest now!
Teething: Reagan has 5 teeth. He has 3 on top and 2 on the bottom. The girls have 4, with 2 on top and 2 on bottom
Favorite Toys: Activity Learning Center, Playhouse, Sit to Stand Walker. They also enjoy holding their little books and holding small blocks in their hands, putting them in and out of containers.
Interacting: The triplets have begun to mimic each other. They like to blow raspberries and make a scrunching face. They also are following each other around like a pack of little puppies from one toy to another and love when mommy lies on the floor. I am guaranteed to be trapped for sometime as they crawl back and forth over me. Standing at the window in the living room is also a favorite for them. Every morning they say hello to Charlie who is the nice man that takes care of the properties. He always stops and waves to them and they are now waving back.
I am Excited to see what this next month will bring.. new words... more playing together.. maybe all three will be walking!
Here's their 13 month pictures.
