A walk before bedtime. It's 50 degrees. Sometimes you just have to walk out the door and go instead of telling oneself would have....could have.

Reagan's Cleft Palate Repair

Reagan was given the medical clearance on his final follow up appointment with his surgeon who repaired his lip in June and his palate in November. Basically what that means is that he is allowed to do whatever his sisters were doing in terms of meals. The truth of the matter is he was already doing the same thing. They have all been eager little eaters and have been on finger foods for weeks. The outcome for Reagan has been a success. Reagan's cleft lip and cleft palate are as perfect as can be. His surgeon even asked the others in the room if they could they tell which triplet had the cleft? That's how pleased she was. And so are we. Leading up to this has been a process and anyone with a child born with a cleft lip or palate or both as he was, will understand. There is an emotional component to it. One that we had not considered or prepared ourselves for. Reagan was perfect to us when he was born and when it came time to repair his lip at 4 months we for a brief mom

Susannah and Kathleen Jazzing

Lo an behold.. Susannah likes to dance and she likes Jazz! In fact both the girls do. After a crying spell and one nap today and dinner still needed to be made, I put some Jazz on and little Susannah started to dance while Kathleen bounced around on the floor. And Reagan, well he is off doing his own thing. Day Two of Summer Fun.

The first day of summer we went to the pool and the second day of the summer we went to the lakefront for a picnic. It was going to hit 90 degrees and we needed to keep busy. When we made it to the park, there was all kind of activity going on. Ball games, tennis games,runners and bikers, golfing and sailing. I was a bit bummed about seeing the runners, as the original plan was to break out the jogging stroller and go for a run with the babies. I had been searching high and low for the key to the huge lock that is on my jogging stroller that is sitting along side our home. I emptied out all the drawers in the entire downstair, finally giving up and told myself, that maybe running for the first time in 90 degree weather after not running for several months was not the best kind of start. So, I regrouped mentally and said a picnic was in order and if I have to buy a saw to get that lock off I will. To get to the place that we set up for a picnic we had to pass these tennis cou
