A walk along Broadway

We headed outside today and snacks and bottles were given in the stroller. Getting out the door kind of goes like this. Fast! Grabbing and getting one baby dressed as fast as I can and into the stroller and then grabbing another baby. It's always the same blankets and snow outfit that I have thrown in a tall wicker basket that stands by the front door. There easy to grab and the layering begins!

Today they wore their new hats that were in another box of clothes that  arrived this week from my cousin who has been sending clothes since I was pregnant. First her maternity clothes, now her boys clothes. The girls are wearing matching hats, but Kathleen's is a bigger size, but still so cute! But don't let her fool you. Every time she goes into the stroller she arches her back and fights going in, but once in, she becomes a happy little camper.
Susannah always becomes very quiet when I put her in the stroller.  And typically she stays that way for the duration. In addition to getting her all nestled in, she also gets a dab of Aquaphor to each cheek and chin as her skin is sensitive to everything!

Reagan's hat is a little on the big side, but I think he's cute too and so did a lot of other people along the day.

He was easy to spot as today he had the front seat. The triplets don't always get the same seat. Their Dad said when I placed Susannah in the back, that shouldn't she sit in the middle because she is the smallest? Ummm, no dear, it's not fair that way. Now that I think about it, I do the same thing when I put them in their cribs. They get a different crib each time they go to sleep. They should all have the opportunity to get different views and experiences!
So were off! No where in particular, just a walk along Broadway
to get some fresh air on this lovely day.

Well we didn't get far. The lady who works at our local Hardware Store right around the corner came running out when she saw us. She always does when she sees us.  And in exchange, this time I asked for a picture. Getting a family picture of all of us together has only happened a few times since the triplets were born. So if you have triplets, ask people to do it. They will be happy too. In fact even if you don't have triplets, ask. People love to help!

Kathleen is always peering out of the stroller, checking out people and what's going on around her. I got this when I was walking back from the store with Jordan. Alex was waiting for us outside. When I returned, he said that a woman stopped and asked if she could take a picture. He said "yes" and stood by the stroller and she said" not you"them!

And finally, I'll add a  few of random comments by people. Some walking by, some from across the street.

"Impossible"

"Look Triplets"

"OMG how cute"

"Three at one time?"

"Wow"

"Awesome"

And finally.... the nice lady who started to stop continued on walking by saying... "You probably get stopped all the time"

And yes, she's right. WE  get stopped every time!
