Stretched out on my bed. Tea beside me. The house has been cleaned. The babies have been fed, diapers changed, playtime in their cribs... and now all fast asleep. The house is quiet.Alex got called in. One of his jobs he carries a pager ( I won't reveal how many - it's not funny anymore). He asked if I wanted him to bring Jordan to soften the news and I took him up on it.
So, instead of feeling frustrated... I will have a moment of reflection of the past year that we are getting ready to say goodbye too...and preparing to bring a New Year in.
We all need this time.. quiet time... and I hope you are getting this time today, even if for just a few minutes.
