I took this picture a few weeks ago, and just like most posts, I am playing catch up.
While waiting for Reagan's class to end, I was caught by surprise.
I was looking at everything that was neatly organized for the parents on the wall outside the classroom, when I saw Reagan's name. I was like...wait a second, that's my son.
I think that is when reality hit... giving off the feeling of OH BOY my son really had started school! Yes, Pre-K and only 2.5 hours every day. But this was a tender bitter sweet mom moment. We all get them as moms -and the experience of the first step of independence between mother and child is a mom moment.
Seeing his name was my mom moment.
